Should I Get A Coach?

Why should or would someone hire a life coach? Well,Well, why would anybody purchase the services of an individual trainer, and interior designer or a sports coach - any pro "assistant" for that matter? After all, everyone knows the way to exercise, a way to hang a curtain and the way to play our own game. But we hire a pro as we know that they're going to hold us responsible on our goals and objectives - and since we are paying good cash for them to be there, regularly if we show up or not, we've an additional motivation to do so ourselves. We also understand that though our understanding of what we are doing could be powerful, a pro always has tips, tools and tricks at their disposal which can save us time, trouble and money.

And we get that even the best of best can't "see themselves" from the outside and do not have the target perspective about their talents and capabilities a trained and experienced pro can bring to bear on any given situation. Just as an even a top-notch sportsman can benefit from the instruction and observations from an external source ( even a source whose ability does not match that of the athlete's ), so can many people benefit from an objective, trained and centered perspective to help with the difficulties in their lives.

The general public are "too near to the forest to see the trees" in their own life to make these types of changes or enhancements themselves, or perhaps notice that such change is possible. Factors like inertia, pre-programmed or biased brooding about our options and potential, unfamiliarity with opportunities or alternatives outside our standard scope of expertise, etc, also make even the littlest changes tricky, if not difficult.

How much harder then is it to make extreme, major changes like reorienting our life purpose, turning a business around or running after a long-held dream? A coach does not have the same limited perspectives about the customer's life the client does, and so can offer discernment, ideas, frameworks, paradigms and resources the customer simply does not have access to.

Coaches make a safe zone inside that the customer can explore new concepts, try out new directions, and debate issues and concerns without fear of judgment or feedback, whilst at the same time providing support systems that enable the customer to progress at whatever pace the customer wants. Life and private coaching is for anyone that wants : change, joy, a new outlook on life, a better version of the old outlook on life, ability improvement, access to life-improvement resources and tools, a new career, a new life, replenished eagerness for their life, adventure, energy, a feeling of liberty, help finding a new direction, help working with their present direction, more fun, help setting up systems to support their goals and dreams and plenty of other such standard of life enhancements. If that describes you, then why not give it a try? The worst you could do is nothing at all.
